Invented way back in 1892, the crown cork is one of the oldest types of bottle caps in use. Even though plastic has been adopted by many bottlers, the metallic crown cork is still used in a big way to secure glass bottles particularly for the soft drink and dairy industry. Crown corks are also used for capping glass bottles storing chemical reagents and food items like ketchup. Needless to say, even after over 120 years the crown cork is still omnipresent in our day-to-day lives.

These crown corks are made out of tin (approximately 0.2 mm thick) with 21 serrations/teeth. The underside of the crown cork is lined with a PVC retainer that acts as a gasket to make the bottle airtight. The crowns are available in bulk packages containing 720 pieces each (minimum order quantity). Each package weighs in at 1.5 kg (3.3 lbs.)

Note**: The crowns shown in the images above are plain (without printing); however we also accept orders for crowns with custom printing. The minimum order quantity for printed crowns is 144,000 pieces and additionally a one-time fee of INR 2,000 will be levied.
