As the name suggests, these handheld vial de-cappers tools are used to de-seal or de-cap aluminium caps from glass/aluminium vials and see wide use in pharmaceutical and microbiology laboratories for testing purposes. These de-cappers can be used for small production runs, de-sealing about 150-250 vials an hour. The jaws are made out of heat treated steel and provide sufficient hardness to ensure wear resistance for a prolonged period of time. The main body is made of mild steel that is powder coated to prevent corrosion. These vial de-cappers are meant especially for standard 13 mm vial caps and can be used to de-cap even flip-off caps.
